‘Friendly Neighbour’ was written by Heide Peverelle from Folk Bitch Trio, who brought it to the table as a potential song for the release. With Folk Bitch Trio providing the breathtaking vocal harmonies, Bones and Jones shaped the instrumental parts around it, adding lapsteel, dynamic drums and layers of electric and acoustic guitar. The final recording is a beautiful reflection of this partnership turned friendship between the two bands.
